Skepticism and despair
melt away when life is
viewed as a daily
gift from God.

Sometimes when we feel our life
Has no real meaning at all
And our days are passing so fast
Our dreams have lost their meanings
And we wonder how it all came to pass

We think to much about the further
And worry about things that went wrong
And forget to look at the lovely gifts
God gave us that have been here all along
~O~
Just stand outside in the early dawn
And watch a fresh new morning
Shake hand with tired old night
And The moon and stars wave by to the sun
~O~
See the beautiful flowers
kissed by the morning dew
Open up and smile at the day
Stand on the mosey bank
Of a lovely mountain stream
In The cool evening shade
Watch the water play among the rocks
As it laughing goes on its way
~O~
There is so much beauty
In the things God gave to us
The beauty of the setting sun
As the day goes into night
The passing of the seasons
As each one takes to flight
~O~
Why not enjoy the thing we have today
And still keep the further in sight
And our hopes and dreams alive
But we better be careful what we treasure
And not let the beautiful little
Every day things slip away
